Soldiers in Iran did not have any order to shoot anyone unless their life was in danger! (I saw the order) and even then the order was to aim low below the knee.
Reality is, if the shah or the previous government or the army would have wanted to shed blood, tens of thousands would have died easily and the country would have gone into civil war just like Syria is today. When Baghi was and is a member and supporter of this regime decided to research number of people who allegedly got killed during the whole fiasco he barely could come up with 1000 and that's after fudging numbers right and left!
The question that needs to be answered is at what point Iranian people will start seeking the truth instead of lies anduse logic instead of hot air as their guding principal.

We went through a lot during last 33 years.  These are the same bastards who set a fire in Cinema Rex in Abadan- killed about 500 innocent people including women/children, then blamed it on shah and S.A.V.A.K.
