Finally, the truth has come out.
The massive efforts to destroy NIAC and silence the Iranian-American voice for peace did not come from within our own community. As this remarkable new exposé reveals, this campaign was funded, directed and coordinated by a small but powerful group of prominent pro-war neoconservatives. It was headed by Daniel Pipes, a longtime advocate of the Mujahedin and war against Iran.
As you will see, their own emails reveal that these neoconservatives instructed Iranian writers what to write against NIAC, how to write it, and where to publish it. (There efforts are visible right here on Iranian.com, by a small but vocal click.)
This was not done on a shoe-string budget. They spent several million dollars to silence the voice of Iranian Americans, starting with NIAC. People like Sheldon Adelson the billionaire who tried to buy the last election - footed the bill.
These elements do not want Iranian Americans to have an independent voice in the United States - and they certainly don't want an effective Iranian-American voice that stands in the way of their dreams of war.
Despite spending millions of dollars, their scorched-earth campaign has failed to destroy us.
We are here. We are strong. And we are growing!
But there is a difference between their failure and our success. At the beginning of this month, we set a goal of raising $100,000 to help make 2013 a turning point for peace, not another war.
So far, we have raised $75,000. We can still meet our goal, but not without your support.
Help strengthen our voice by making a generous contribution of $100 or an amount right for you. All contributions are tax-deductible and help us to keep building a strong Iranian-American voice for peace in Washington, DC.
Thank you and have a great 2013!

Dear Trita, thanks for being here. Don't let the signal to noise ratio of the neo-con peanut gallery here bother you any.
