A few years ago I purchased a tape which had one song by Ali Sadeghi. I fell in love with his voice and it was quite a challenge finding an album which featured his songs (that was before the Internet). His beautiful and very distinct voice is a delight to listen to. He has done a song in one of my favorite “Koocheh Baaghi” style which is unfortunately diminishing. Thanks to Dr. Meshginpoosh for converting the tape for your listening pleasure.

I have always loved the voice of Iraj Mehdian and believed his voice is truly beautiful and timeless. His songs have beautiful and heart worming lyrics. When I wrote “A trip to Ramsar” I was surprised at the number of e-mails requesting his songs.
By mid 1970s he was not producing albums any longer. I was fortunate enough to see him in a small night club in 1978 and realized that his voice was even more beautiful in person. There are no albums featuring Mehdian exclusively, as far as I know.
Abbas Ghaderi is another well known Koocheh Bazaari singer and some of his albums are available in the market.
I bought this combined album (produced by Taraneh Enterprises) a few years ago and thanks to Dr. Abbas Sekhavat in Dallas for converting the tape for the enjoyment of iranian.com visitors. [More Ghaderi here] [More Mehdian here]
