The night and us

I ask you
“how did the night find our house
and laughed at the brightness of our eyes”
You glare at the sad sky of love
and pain starts dripping from your eyes
I stand up and open the window
for the runaway breeze to come back home
but the sky begins to cry
You go to the fountain of our childhood
and spread your soul
on the coolness of its land
You pick the wild mint
from the soul of earth
and between your teeth
you take its hot taste to play
and in your head
the smell of green wild mint starts to fly
And in my ears
I hear the singing of the meadow of the wild mint
that squashes under my feet
and turns silent
