Simin Meykadeh studied art in Tehran, London, and the San Francisco Art Institute. She has lived and worked in San Francisco since 1983. Simin has exhibited in group shows in London, New York, Washington, D.C. and San Francisco. Her paintings are in many private collections. In 1989, she and four other artists were chosen to represent Iran at the Barbican Center in London for “The Contemporary Art of the Islamic World”.
