The beautiful flowers you see associated with my blog, are commonly called “Persian Buttercups.” The more formal identity associated with these flowers is: Family} Rananculaceae. Genus} Rananculus. Species} Asiaticus. To those living in or visiting Southern California during springtime, a visit to Carlsbad’s Flower Fields allows one to experience a sea of colors emanating from the bulbs housing these wonders.
