Pleasant state

“Pleasant is Shiraz and its incomparable state!” Thus sings Hafez, the greatest Persian lyrical poet about his beloved hometown. The pictures in this album were taken during my recent visit to Shiraz and among the different sites are The Hafez Mausoleum, The Karim Khan Citadell, The Nasir al-Molk Mosque, The Vakil Bazaar and Mosque, The Khan School and The Tomb of Rouzbehan Baqli
