Googoosh released her new CD in time for Nowruz but it was so ‘beesarseda’ that it almost seems a bit eerie! I have not seen any advertisements for it online nor have I seen it in the Iranian stores and supermarkets. The only way I heard about it was through an email I get from one of the sites that sells Iranian music, etc…, so I am not sure if they would have exclusive distribution rights (highly doubt that)…but I am curious why we are not seeing and hearing more about this?
In case anyone has seen the CD or bought it and heard the full album and would like to review it, I would love to hear your thoughts on it. I can’t wait to buy it myself. Although, personally I wish Googoosh would get off her Mehrdad addiction and see what else is out there, she is still (and always will be) beloved no matter what …

In addition to some new songs, Googoosh also sings some of her old and most memorable old songs and several songs in English and Spanish for her fans. A really great album. Makes a great gift too.
