Bill Clinton paid a short visit to eastern North Carolina recently to promote Hillary’s presidential campaign. We had the impression that she was in desperate need for votes (it was before her faux-pas about “obliterating Iran”) because he deemed it necessary to come to this rural and remote part of North Carolina where George Washington spent two nights more than 200 years ago. It was surprising that we didn’t have to go through any security check. It was either because we live in a safe area or maybe because he is not holding any important position anymore.
