Spider’s Web

Here’s a poem I wrote for my English class, it’s terrible but whatever, people need to get their writing out there. 🙂

Spider’s Web

So intricately woven

It delicately stands,

Surpassing all the seasons,

It’s a beauty of the lands;

And some lovely spider searching for a place to make it’s web

Finds this spot of shade, among the flow and ebb.

This sight we awe and marvel at,

It sparkles and it gleams;

For the spider that we know and love

Chose his abode to be a stream.

It withstands the wind that blows

With it’s strands so small and fine,

And twinkles on the Milky Way,

Continuous as stars that shine.
