June 3, 08 at 2 pm- more than 250 students of U OF T and their supporters from Iranian community gathered in front of old city hall to send a strong message to the U OF T president , the police and prosecutor, that we do not let you guys to shut down freedom of expression by charging those students who practised their civil rights to make the just demands from U of T authorities .
while the auhtorities are giving us democracy lecture to us as immigrands , they are violataing the rights of studets for public education which is a principal of UN human right charter and alsoignoring the needs of our younger generation.
so many police officers and under cover police were attending the court session which adjourned to July 3, 08 .
It was very good to see officials from our community at the peaceful demonstration and supporting.

I am wondering those who want to run for I.C.C. who claiming to work fot the community were absent . Can we trust you guys to fight for the community at large, I do not think so.
