I was at my cousin Nersi’s house last night. His wife Bella had found some cartoons her mother had kept from their days in the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) in Abadan around 1956. Oil company staff from various divisions had created cartoons related to their work. Note that the turbaned characters are identical to those in Ali Baba and Sinbad movies made in Hollywood at the time. Enjoy.
