Earlier today, Hadi SAEI of IRAN defeated both of his opponents in the Quarterfinals and the Semifinals of the 80 kg weight division of TAEKWONDO. He defeated Guo ZHU of China in the Quarterfinals, and Rashad AHMADOV of AZERBAIJAN in the Semifinals. He will be fighting Mauro SARMIENTO of ITALY for the Gold Medal at 8:15 am EST, approx. 1 1/2 hours from now [see his gold medal victory].
