P vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin was disinvited Thursday from an anti-Iran rally outside United Nations headquarters next week, two days after Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-N.Y.) dropped out in pique over her presence. The organizers of the Monday rally announced that no politicians will appear at the event. Clinton was angered when her staff learned from reporters, not the rally’s sponsors, that the pro-Israel Jewish groups staging the event had invited Palin, and the Alaska governor had accepted.
