IRVINE, Southern California — The Network of Iranian-American Professionals of Orange County (NIPOC) on behalf of the Southern California based Persian Community wishes to thank all the organizations, sponsors, and the public for a very successful Mehregan. The annual Persian Harvest Festival of Autumn (Mehregan 2008) was held on October 11-12, 2008 at the Orange County Fair & Event Center in Costa Mesa, CA. Thousands of people enjoyed the 13th annual event celebrating Persian culture with music, dance, artwork, crafts, traditional Persian cuisine, traditional tea house, and costumes. The festival represents Iranian Americans’ interest in their heritage and commitment to share that heritage with the community.
