On friday, I got there about 8 am in the rain, and parked the car, as
they allowed us to enter the site, some bearded man with a
walkie-talkie took my camera. I was told I couldn’t take pi More..ctures
today, but I sa More..w chinese tourists in a bus (or maybe from
another country) come and they took pictures. It was this moment I
realized their blood is darker than my own.
I went to buy ticket and they tool my ID, which is never done before.
Other men were not allowed, simply because of what they were wearing.
Some of us started to talk about it, and security told us to either
keep walking or not talk.
you can hear the crowd singing a famous patriotic iranian song “yare
dabestaniye man”, and saying “we will never be arabs”, “Cyrus is our
father, iran is our nation”, “we are the sons of cyrus”, “freedom is
our right”
LATER ON, CONFRONTATION ENSUED, THE POLICE STARTED TO DISPERSE THE
PEOPLE. THE POLICE SAID THAT IF THEY CONTINUE, IT WOULD LEAD TO
CONFRONTATION. At 6th minute, THE POLICE SAY: “WE LIKE YOU ALL, WE
DON’T WANT ANY FIGHTING, I AM BEGGING YOU TO DISPERSE, IF NOT, THEN WE
WILL HAVE TO UNWILLINGLY CONFRONT YOU.”
THE CROWD RESPONDED WELL. “IT IS OUR RIGHT”
