An Iranian blogger, yarro, inspired by Obama’s inauguration this week, “today, people…have reached such a level of intelligence that they look at each other only as human; color, religion, and other factors are not used for discrimination against each other.”
The blogger adds that one day something similar could happen in Iran.
“I have a dream, a dream that one day in my country equality will be achieved. I might not be alive when that day comes, but it will definitely come, a day when someone, who doesn’t believe in the Islamic Republic, without facing discrimination, will become Iran’s president…. Yes, Mr. Islamic Republic, a day will come when a Baha’i will be [able] to become Iran’s President.”
