Even though President Bush commuted Scooter Libby’s 30-month prison sentence for perjury and obstruction of justice in the Valerie Plame affair, Dick Cheney didn’t think it was enough. The former vice president wanted his ex-chief of staff, who remains a felon and cannot practice law, granted a full pardon… and Cheney was reportedly “outraged” when Bush refused. The Daily News reports that as the Bush Administration ticked down, Cheney waged a full-court press to get Libby pardoned.
