Stop Child Executions is happy to announce that Rahim Ahmadi has a stay of execution for the time being. His mother received news yesterday that her son was not on the list of those scheduled to be executed.
Seven people were taken to be executed on Monday. Five of them ended up being executed while two, who had nooses around their necks ready to be executed ,were reprieved at the last minute. Rahim Ahmadi’s lawyer sent a message today thanking all those who helped pressure the Iranian Judiary to halt his execution. Stop Child Executions also thanks all those who took action in this urgent matter.
