Examples of what are thought to be Adolf Hitler’s early paintings are to go under the hammer. The 13 works, which are to be sold at Ludlow Racecourse in Shropshire, were left forgotten in a collector’s garage, specialist auctioneer Mullock’s said. The paintings include one picture of a man sitting on a stone bridge appearing to show the Nazi leader’s trademark side-parting. The pieces were found in 1945 by a soldier, Mullock’s said.
