I can unfortunately not remember the talented author of the short story “bala roodi, payin roodi” (Khosro Shahani, maybe?). Is there anyone out there who has read and remembers the story? It was one of a series of very funny and satirical short stories in a book by the same title.
There is also the expression: “zan o shohar da’va konand, ahmaghan bavar konand.”
The story and the above proverb describes so nicely the present situation in Iran.
