Following the release of the five Iranian diplomats, who were abducted in Iraq by US forces over two years ago, Iran’s Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki threatens Washington with possible legal action.
“We reserve the right to legally pursue … this action taken by the (George W.) Bush government,” Mottaki said on Sunday as the freed Iranian officials received a hero’s welcome upon arriving in Tehran.
“The US act in kidnapping the Iranian diplomats is in stark contrast with all international rules and regulations,” he added.
