Could the prospect of tens of thousands of highly educated and trained American-Iranians, reeling from the economic depression sweeping the United States, and looking to possibly return to Iran bode well for that country’s technical, scientific, and managerial prospects? This “brain drain” reversal may offer a once in a generational opportunity for a country that has been hobbled by technical, managerial, and scientific obstacles to revamp and upgrade its infrastructure to meet the pressing demands of today’s (and tomorrow’s) society.
