TEHRAN (ISNA)-Iran’s Foreign Ministry Spokesman Hassan Qashqavi rejected reports on the country’s involvement in Iraq terrorist attacks, saying discussions on Iran’s engagement in the actions have not been proved even for one time.
Qashqavi added “even Iraqis declared that there was security negligence inside Iraq and the issue has been confirmed in remarks of Iraqi prime and foreign ministers.”
“These allegations against Iran are unfounded and we have always supported peace in the country.”
Speaking to the reporters in his weekly press conference on Monday, Qashqavi moved to Iran’s nuclear issue and said the country has been cooperating with the IAEA and that positive results can be achieved if the organization abides by its legal approaches and avoids taking political ones.
Concerning Iran’s package of proposal, he said the package is being arranged and it needs enough time to be organized since it should be totally comprehensive.
