For the first time in my life I am excited about opera! All it took was to hear three beautiful women sing it to me in Farsi! And I am all theirs! Well, they didn’t really sing it “to me,” so that part isn’t 100% true, but the part about my being devoted to them is true! Take a look for yourself here and you will know what I mean:

By the time I finished watching the video clip I was in love with Persian opera (of the soprano kind)! These women are absolutely fantastic. They are gorgeous and talented and they make me so proud of Iranian women.
I know JJ must have worked very hard to bring all these fabulous world class artists together for a concert for Iranian.com. I already knew all about Lily Afshar who is another very special and talented Iranian artist. I’m also looking forward to seeing Fared Shafinury whose performance I missed last April when he was here but I was travelling. And now I know all about the soprano ladies, too!
