On Friday September 25, 2009, Mayor of Toronto, David miller announced that he would not be participating in the candidacy of his third round in City Elections of 2010. The 39 day strike really hurt Miller’s reputation as the mayor and his relation with worker unions was darkened. I had an interview with Mr. Miller after the strike in which we sat down and discussed a variety of issues in particularly the recent uprisings in Iran and how the Iranian community of Toronto can help out.
