I guess some people in Moscow heard Iranians chant “Marg bar Roosiyeh” during the recent protests! The new Persian website for RIA Novosti has posted a poll which asks people about their perception of Russia’s image. If you have an opinion one way or the other, go and participate in the poll. So far it looks like 85.8% of people who have participated believe Russia doesn’t have a good image.
I wonder what they would do with this information? Stop selling surveillance and eavesdropping equipment to Iran? Stop sending their “security consultants” to teach Sepaah how to suppress and arrest crowds in peaceful demonstrations? Stop milking Iran for all its money through sales of unsafe airplanes, arms, and any junk that nobody else would buy, including but not limited to their nuclear technology?
It will take a long time for Iranians to forget that Russia was the first and for a long time the only significant state that congratulated Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on his “victory” through a rigged election. Go and cast your vote, people, maybe they will hear!
