Life is Not a Lollipop

I felt a hard kick on my behind.
I took my head out of sand to see who my attacker was.
I was not too surprised to see that Life was getting ready
for one of his old favorite tricks again.
“Not again” I said trying not to look at his face.
“Oh yes, it is time for another round.” Life said looking at me with his familiar lecherous eyes.
Having known Life for many years and having been screwed by him numerous times,
I got into his favorite position. He looked happy and started.
“Don’t nag or complain since this one is going to take time,
seven years to be exact.” He warned, smiling.
“What about the good and happy times you let me have not long ago?
Why did you give me those experiences if you were going to do this
to me now?” I managed to ask with a shaky voice.
“Those were lubrications for this.” He said, already breathing quite heavily.
I turned my face and looked around me. I was not alone. There were millions of others lying down
and getting screwed by Life. They were men, women, children, and even
infants, attesting to Life’s cruel, heartless, and unjust nature.
I also saw millions who were standing around completely oblivious to our pain and suffering.
Not a finger was raised, or a helping hand extended.
They carried on with big smiles and happy faces, while unbeknownst to them, being lubricated by Life.
Poor souls had no idea what awaited them.
