Né en Iran, grandi en Algérie, pilier de l’agence Magnum, Abbas a notamment photographié la révolution islamique de 1979 dans son pays, en proie à un mouvement de protestation inédit depuis les élections contestées du 12 juin. Une vague de contestation qu’il suit naturellement de très près.
