Following the recent pressure put on an Iranian newspapaer, Tehran Emrooz, to change its masthead because it was seen as portraying a naked ballerina < http://iranian.com/main/2010/feb/naked-ballerina>, Iran’s Judiciary Chief Ayatollah Sadeq Larijani has decided to ban the letter N from the Persian alphabet because he now sees it as portraying a woman’s breast :-).
