Once upon a time, the US and the IAEA asked Tehran to explain why it was so interested in Nuclear energy.
No one answered.
So the US and the IAEA asked again.
And still, no official response came from Iran.
Then the US and the IAEA got really really annoyed and pissed off and angry, and even the Israel started getting upset with Iran and they threatened Iran with even more sanctions than they were already imposing on Iran.
The Israel told the US and IEA that if they didn’t damn well do something about Iran, that they would. And that it would hurt. A lot.
But still, Iran was nowhere to be heard.
Finally, after more and more asking, The US and the IAEA and the Israel, asked their friends the Russians and the Chinese, who had lately become good friends with Iran, even helping them with their nuclear ambitions, to ask Iran for a response.
So the Russians and the Chinese sent their representatives to Tehran to ask Iran why it was so interested in Nuclear energy. When the Russians and the Chinese representatives came back, they went to the US and the IAEA and the Israel and told them that they had found out why Iran was not responding to them.
“The reason,” said the Chinese representative, ” is that every single Iranian man, woman and child, living both inside and outside of Iran (and even Outer Space) is on the floor, laughing so hard that their tummies hurt and none of them can get up to come to the door to answer you.”
Well, as you can imagine, this made the US and the IAEA and the Israel really really mad. “But tell us Oh Chinese (and thanks by the way for bailing us out!), what did Iran say when you asked them why they were so interested in Nuclear energy?” The US asked sputtering to contain its growing anger.
“They said,” said the Chinese representative, starting to chuckle a bit himself, “None of your business!”
And with that, he too burst out laughing and fell to the floor holding his stomach. Next the Russian representative also fell to the floor and began laughing even harder than the Chinese. Some members of the IAEA, the ones in the back, started giggling and a few snorts were heard.
By now the US and the Israel were very very very angry. Even more angrier than they were before.
And that’s how the world ended.
