It’s been 31 years that dance has been banned in Iran. In these 31 years, the government of Iran has tried to eliminate the presence of women in society. The rights of women have thus been ignored. Therefore, Khorshid Khanoom Dance Group invities all the women and men to come and dance in front of the Iranian Embassy in the capital of Canada, Ottawa. Please put on your most beautiful and colorful costumes and join us in reclaiming women’s rights.
