Thinking in a Bubble; What has become of us?

Thinking in a Bubble; What has become of us?

It is becoming almost like a crime on Iranian.com to have any apathy toward suffering of other people and nations other than Iranians, to the point of absurdity. These  selfish and self centered attitude is no more obvious than extremist on both sides.

You are accused of being a Zionist agent, war mongering bigot if you criticize atrocities of IR regime in a non stop fashion. Ever rightfully too, since it is obvious that there are extremist elements present in IC that are for certain hired agents of Right [aka self-righteous]. These group go as far as propagating the air tight sanction against Iran, which a certain first  step is total war against the nation of 70 million. Sadly enough under the ever so obviously  transparent disguise of patriotism.

Same  is true about the opposite extremist group. Ones who non stop are at criticism of the Israeli and American policies in occupied territories, and Palestinian issue. Again rightfully so since there are known elements of hired agents of IR propaganda machine who are present here, and constantly are at white washing and distraction of public opinion in respect to atrocities of Islamic Regime by blaming it all on the others. Sadly enough again, under the transparent disguise of human rights.

These two extremes unfortunately have the most hate filled, audacious and the loudest voice.

In the middle are caught ordinary compassionate human beings who feel pain anywhere that there are injustices.  These people feel as much pain and despair when the see killings, beating rapes of beautiful young women and men in Iran that has been going on for decades, as they feel the pain of the Rwandan people, where million have been systematically raped and killed, same way when they see shattered and mutilated bodies of defenseless school children, women and man after the 72 hour of constant areal bombardment of Gaza by Israeli gunships.

These normal human beings  see and empathize with any homeless children in the US, as the cry for orphaned children in Haiti. They are anguished when they see a child from Iran who is crying over his killed parents, as they are by  seeing scenes of devastated mother in Gaza holding the shattered boy of her child.

To these normal, humane, compassionate and loving  people, pain and suffering has no boarders. To these true humans, there is only ONE human population in the world. People are not divided along their race, religion, nationality, language, gender, age and traditions.  People, for this group, are only divide by amount of love and compassion that they can project toward one another, or hate for that fact.

To those people on the extremes, I say: You have the right to hate to your hearts contend and be indifference as much as you wish, But do not tell me how I should to empathize with the citizens of the world. If in your twisted logic, being compassionate and caring toward EVERY human being who suffering under any form of injustice make us agents of this and treacherous toward that, then so be it.
