Footage and photos posted to the Internet appear to indicate that a general stike called today, May 13, 2010, to protest the execution of five political prisoners, Farzad Kamangar, Shirin Alam Hooli, Ali Heidari, Mehdi Eslamian, and Farhad Vakili on Sunday — four of them Iranian Kurds — has been successful.
