Ahmadinejad says nuclear swap deal one-time offer

(Reuters) – The nuclear fuel swap deal reached between Iran and Turkey and Brazil last month was an opportunity that will not be repeated, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Tuesday.

Ahmadinejad’s comments were aimed at the international community, with a vote to impose tougher sanctions on Tehran looming at the U.N. Security Council.

“We hope and still hope they will be able to use this opportunity, but we say this opportunity will not be repeated,” he told a news conference in Istanbul, where he was attending a regional summit.
