Eid ul-fitr is a holiday that marks the end of Ramadan, the Islamic month of fasting. Like any such occasion anywhere in the world it is a time for celebration. But like most other things, what is a time for celebration elsewhere is not so in IRR, the Islamist Rapist Republic.
Due to the shorter working hours during the month of fasting, this occasion in IRR marks the time to begin clearing up the backlog, catch up with the delayed hangings, amputations, eye gougings, lashings and the occasional raping.
So it is understandable that Mohammad Mostafaie to be extra worried. He is the brave Iranian lawyer who represents the 43 year old Iranian woman, Sakineh M. Ashtiani. She is of course the one waiting to be murdered by stoning or some other barbaric Islamist method.
After Mr. Mostafai’s wife was taken hostage by IRR to stop him from campaigning to save Sakineh’s life, he wisely chose to flee the country. International pressure forced Islamist Rapists to release his wife who along with their daughter have joined him in the civilized world.
