The other night Stuart Levey, Under Secretary for Terrorism and Financial Intelligence, a holdover from the Bush Administration, was interviewed by Charlie Rose. The hour long interview was mostly about IRR, the Islamist Rapist Republic, and how Levey and his people are isolating it financially.
In facing up to IRR, the Islamist Rapist Republic, Levey is the last nonmilitary arrow in the quiver of the sane and civilized world. There is an ever growing segment rooting for him to succeed. I just hope before it is too late more businesses would see the light and help the guy do the good deed he is doing for all.
“Stuart Levey: … This is not just about their nuclear program. This is the country that is by far the leading state sponsor of terrorism in the world. And it’s not just Hezbollah. Everyone focuses on Hezbollah. But they are not just the funder of Hezbollah.
“Charlie Rose: Who else is it?
“Stuart Levey: It’s Hamas. It’s the Palestinian Islamic jihad. It’s the PFLPGC. They even support, as I know you’ve talked about; it’s even support for elements of the Taliban. This is a state enterprise for Iran. This is part of their budget essentially that they’re going to support these terrorist groups around the world. By exposing that, we’re able to increase the effect of what I am talking about. And the IRGC is the principal organization through which they do this.”
