Behzad, my husband, was born and raised in Tehran. I was born in California. He is an artist. I am a writer. He is quiet, introverted, scientific. I am talkative, extroverted and spiritual. We are in love. Whether it is because of our differences or in spite of them…I don’t know. But we have been together for 20 years and we still make each other laugh. When we are not busy making each other crazy.
I believe in my husband’s talent, and in his integrity. In honor of his amazing art and our mutual devotion, I have written a book entitled “My Husbands HeART”. I recently made a video of the book in order to promote it and expose the world to his work. It is featured on YouTube with the title “Romance and Art”.

For those of you who have had the experience of blending and marrying the two cultures of Persian and American, I believe you will be able to relate to some of what I have presented here. I have learned so much from my husband about commitment and depth and generosity. It is deep within him these qualities; not only because of who he is, but also because of where he is from.
