Iran has NOT been granted a seat on the UN women board….but Saudi Arabia has; even though Shirin Ebadi has said that Saudi Arabia’s abuse of women is worse than Iran’s. So, what has this taught us? The decisions made by the United Nations are based on pressures and politics and not on the logic of human rights.
