President Obama and First Lady Michelle apparently won’t be invited to Prince William’s wedding to Kate Middleton, The UK tabloid Daily Mail reports. Sources say that sincePrince William is not yet heir to the throne, his wedding will not be considered a “state occasion” and therefore, political leaders will not be on the guest list. But the report may be too juicy to be true: It would be the first time in history that the U.S. president has not been invited to a royal wedding. France’s President Nicolas Sarkozy and his wife Carla Bruni are expected to attend. Or is this an indirect snub by the British Government in response the President Obama returning back to the UK a Bust of Winston Churchill offered as a gift to former President George W. Bush deemed inappropriate for the Oval Office by the Obama administration ?
