The hallmark of any sane and civilized system is its administration of justice. For instance, an Iranian is always weary of the fact that his or her life and property in IRR, the Islamist Rapist Republic, occupied Iran can be taken away with impunity at any moment by any Islamist Rapist. He or she has no legal recourse.
Contrast that with democracies, U.S. presidents, even while in office, are subject to the same laws as any other American. Or even better example would be the following news item about a just convicted rapist:
“(AP) JERUSALEM – Former Israel President Moshe Katsav was convicted Thursday of raping an employee when he was a Cabinet minister, the most serious criminal charges ever brought against a high-ranking official and a case that shocked the nation.”
