I read this book little over a year ago, The author entered Iran on foot with a back pack!
Unlike what you’ve seen on TV Jamie didn’t have to report his intentions to anyone in order to obtain a visa, submit his daily diary to anyone and didn’t have to follow the path set by the “Ershad” ministry for people like Rick Steves or other TV show producers So…..he sat down, mingled with, talked and listened to PEOPLE in Iran!
Such an easy to read, heartwarming and unbiased book that I highly recommend everyone whose heart is in the Motherland to read.
Just to tell you how true and unbiased this author and his book is, he’s banned from re-entry to Iran! Go figure!
