In the past two years, we have educated the Obama Administration and Congress, mobilized grassroots action,
collected and shared the personal stories of Iranian students with top
U.S. officials, sent thousands of letters to President Obama and
Secretary Clinton, and advanced legislation requiring
the White House to investigate a solution to this issue. And, with
NIAC’s support, the California Democratic Party recently passed a resolution calling for fixing this policy.
