In a solid performance, Zob Ahan displayed Esfahani soccer greatness and defeated the Saudi side 4-1. The first and the fourth goal by Zob Ahan were world class!
The Saudi goalie was in tears after the 4th goal and had to be substituted! The Saudi captain was ejected after he fouled the Iranian player out of frustration! Overall, a great day for Iranian soccer fans.
Yesterday, Sepahan defeated Bonyad Kar of Uzbekistan to also advance to the quarterfinals.
