In late May, I had the good fortune of seeing Shahrzad Sepanlou in the Bay Area. I invited her to a party we were having for Jahanshah Javid at lovely Bella and Nersi’s home. It was raining like crazy when I picked her up and she was so gracious not to mind my messy car and the pots and pans of food I was transporting to the party in the car! I found Shahrzad to be warm and beautiful and extremely humble. We had a chance to chat then and a little later that weekend about her life, her music, and her career.
