The Man with the Chocolate Robes!

The children of revolution who procreated this Islamic revolution with their blood, tears and sweat are the ones this revolution wants to devours at Gods speed!

Rafsanjani was an old student of Khomienite thoughts as was Montazeri, yet nearly all of them rebelled against the ‘Cultish Khomeinism.’ After seeing the revolution and its bloodletting the ‘major fall’ out with Khomeini was theological departure from concept of Allah’s dictatorship over people under a ‘theocratic Supreme Leader.’

Forget about the liberals who in majority detest this mass human bondage of intellect; it is atrocious how the original authors of this revolution have ditched this revolution. It is akin to Karl Marx ditching Das Kapital; after all Montazeri was after author of ‘Dirasat fi Vilayah al-Faqih.’

Rafsanjani, Khatami and Mousavi have very little options, they should know now that the road to emancipation and liberation does not pass through Qom, it never will. Montazari, Rafsanjani, Khatami and Mousavi the insiders of the cabal rebelled due to bankruptcy of the ideas at the top. The great Iranian schism amongst the mullahs i.e. known as ‘mother of all schisms’ is quietly brewing ready to blow the top off, who can ever forget the picture above when Rafsanjani clearly pulled away and refused to stand next to Ahmadinejad.

Rafsanjani, Montazari, Mousavi all saw finally what a disaster they have bequeathed to Iran in the name of Islamic revolution. They need now to stop dilly dallying and just throw away the yoke of intellectual slavery of Hawzaul-Qom , that’s the only way out, to start with a clean slate.

Mohammad Khatami relatively popular reputation amongst group of young as “مردی با عبای شکلاتی” “The Man with the Chocolate Robe” in December 22, 2005, a few months after the end of Khatami’s presidency, Chelcheragh organized a ceremony in Khatami’s honor on Yalda night hosted by Pegah Ahangarani, the one who blogged this event Hojjat ol-Eslam Seyyed Mohammad Ali Abtahi former Vice President of Iran and a close associate of Khatami has been sentenced as a traitor to jail.

Khatami a political “insider” who drew up a “list of preconditions” to present to the government for the reforms that were realistic was condemned by the Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei as “a spy and traitor” and called for his execution. When dissent becomes treason punishable by death, counter revolution for true liberty becomes a duty; ”give me liberty or give me death” should be the slogan.

A small story from the past, Ayatollah Khomeini emergence as Marja-e Taqlid by a large number of Iranian Shi’is was secured after the death of Ayatollah Boroujerdi’s (the most prominent religious leader in Qom after the death of Ayatollah Haeri) and popularity of the ‘101’ of religious practice entitled, Tozih al-Masael.

Whilst Ayatollah Boroujerdi’s was alive Khomieni kept a very low profile engaging only in theological matters in hawzaul-Qom ; he taught Islamic jurisprudence and stayed away from politics though and gathered some ‘hard core followers’ who helped him later to overthrow the Shah. The names of these early associates were Ayatollah Murtaza Motahhari, Grand Ayatollah Hussein-Ali Montazeri Najafabadi and the younger lot Hojatoleslam Mohammad Javad Bahonar and Hojatoleslam Ali Akbar Hashimi-Rafsanjani.

Two of them have rebelled and disowned this non-sensical rule of mullahcracy. (Ayatollah Murtaza Motahhari is considered among the important influences on the ideologies of the Islamic Republic, and was a co-founder of Jāme’e-ye Rowhāniyat-e Mobārez. He taught philosophy for 22 years at University of Tehran, he was assassinated on May 1, 1979. Hojatoleslam Mohammad Javad Bahonar served as the first Iranian cleric Prime Minister was assassinated by Mujahideen-e Khalq on 30 August 1981.)

Grand Ayatollah Hussein-Ali Montazeri Najafabadi was one of the leaders of the Iranian Revolution in 1979 the designated successor to the revolution’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khomeini, with whom he had a falling out in 1989 over what Montazeri claimed infringement of people’s freedom and denied them their rights. The most conversant Grand Marja of Shi’ite Islam. A session of the Assembly of Experts in November (1985) Montazeri elected him as a designated Khomeini’s successor as Supreme Leader. His selection had happened for one reason – Khomeini chose him for this role solely because of his support for Khomeini’s principle of theocratic rule by Islamic jurists.

“All of the people know that you are the harvest of what I have sown during my life. The people must follow you” — Khomieni

Inexcusably enough on 26 March 1989 when a furious Khomeini strongly denounced Montazeri’s actions and announced dismissal of Montazeri’s title of Grand Ayatollah it was the then Prime Minister Mir Hossein Mousavi who ordered portraits Montazeri to be removed from offices and mosques.

In 1989 an interview published in Keyhan, Montazeri directly accused Khomeini: ”The denial of people’s rights, injustice and disregard for the revolution’s true values have delivered the most severe blows against the revolution. Before any reconstruction [takes place], there must first be a political and ideological reconstruction. This is something that the people expect of a leader.”

In 2004 he remarked: “The people were not happy with the Shah’s regime and nor are they happy now.” Montazeri also criticized Khomeini’s fatwa ordering the assassination of author Salman Rushdie saying: “People in the world are getting the idea that our business in Iran is just murdering people.”

Khomeini’s proposed form of administration called for the most learned, or one of the most learned, Islamic jurists to “rule”, and of all those who might be considered a leading Islamic jurist, only Montazeri supported theocracy. And what, he realised soon what a mistake he has made and rebelled.

Until today very few grand Ayatollahs support the thesis of ‘Velayat-e Faqih’ over ‘Shiite doctrine of Quietism. ‘Motezari the author of Dirasat fi Vilayah al-Faqih, a scholarly book advocating the supervision of the administration by Islamic jurists but deviated from Khomeini and refused to accept any executive and policy making role for the Islamic Velayat-e Faqih leaning more on the pattern of Grand Ayatollah Sistani; currently the biggest Murja of them all at the Howzaal Najaf.

Mullahs themselves realized today they have to give up any temporal involvement in running of the state. Let them sit in Qom and continue to write thesis’s which essentially deal with the interpretations of holy scriptures on carnal activities below navel scar or “Belly button” Tozih al-Masael deals with these issues comprehensively. The ‘Man with the Chocolate Robes’ Rafsanjani, Khatami and Mousavi have very little options ; just cut the bondages of mind away once for all.
