Iranian actress Leila Hatami is among the jury members of the 37th Deauville American Film Festival (Sept 3rd-Sept 12th) in France. While translator Massoumeh Lahidji hosted debate with Francis Ford Coppola. Leila Hatami alongside Sabrina Ouazani, Elisa Sednaoui, and Benjamin Siksou, Hatami judged the Revelation section of the festival, which was headed by Samuel Benchetrit. They
will pick a film to receive this year’s Cartier Trophy from the festival.
The Deauville American Film Festival is an annual film festival dedicated to American cinema.

For the 37th time some of America’s film legends have come to the coast of Normandy for the American Film Festival in Deauville.
Massoumeh Lahidji (daughter of lawyer and Human Rights Activist Karim Lahiji) also served as one of the hosts of the festival interviewing this year’s honorary PresidentFrancis Ford Coppola.
