I’ve noticed that NIAC’s Internet Response Team ™ is getting lazy and instead of relaying NIAC’s talking points (straight from their Fact Book ™) in a more creative and subtle manner, they’ve resorted to repeating it verbatim from the said Fact Book ™. One point that these team members like to make is that if you don’t like NIAC, start your own organization. There are two points that are to be made in this statement: 1) don’t criticize NIAC, 2) there are no Iranian-American/human rights organizations other than NIAC; hence, you have to go make one from scratch if you don’t like NIAC.
This observation has not gone unnoticed by others and you may find another comment (below) that has alluded to this popular euphemism. And some actually have tried to be creative but still their words come out like clumsy yes-men. And of course, there are standard retorts for those who have actually taken NIACis on their advice/threat in making a case for creating an organization which is usually in the form of ridicule.
