This working musician, Mario Cancino Peña, walked into the Cafe Journal, in Valparaiso’s old port district and played a few songs. Before he left, I asked if he would sing the most popular local song he could think of. He said it’s called “Cantor de Valparaiso” (Los Cuatro Cuartos – La Joya del Pacifico). Isn’t it beautiful?
