The kind of debates presented below would not be considered all that noteworthy, but rather routine, in any society where meaningful debates on state policies are conducted in national media. But given the monopoly by the party line in the Iranian state media, the clips below from Sadegh Zibakalam’s debates might appear rather refreshing.
